Well isn’t this just absolutely fabulous? This ring is officially called the ‘Caspar’ Why? The lucky lady who received this ring as a gift from her husband has just had a beautiful baby called…you guessed it- Caspar! (Oh boy is Daddy in the good books!)
 
 
 

Victoria's Secret unveiled its annual "Fantasy Bra" on Monday, with this year's creation totalling more than 1,000 carats and valued at US$5 million. Jeweller Martin Katz created the 2008 Black Diamond Fantasy Miracle Bra using 3,575 black diamonds, 117 certified one-carat round diamonds and 34 rubies.
The most stunning feature of the bra's design, however, is two black-diamond drops totalling 100 carats. Victoria's Secret has been partnering with jewellers to create these fabulous bras since 1996. Paul is still waiting for his turn….

The " Asscher cut diamond" was developed in 1902 by the Asscher Brothers of Holland. It is a stepped square cut, often called the "square emerald cut" and like an emerald cut, the Asscher has cropped corners.

The Asscher cut has rapidly gained popularity as it was featured in "Sex & and the City" and stars such as Kate Hudson and Kate Beckinsale have received Asscher-cuts as engagement rings. Due to the increased popularity, more and more stores are carrying this fashionable cut -- however, the range of diamonds tends to be smaller than for other more common cuts.


Elizabeth Hurley’s engagement ring was a 15.09 carat Asscher cut diamond, set in white gold and surrounded by a pave-set band, created by Chopard.
