This beautiful ‘art deco’ style ring is the latest ring off the bench.

I’d like you to meet our lovely friends Cathy & Michael. Cathy celebrated her 50th Birthday recently and as well as a fabulous party she also has a fabulous emerald and diamond ring –lucky girl!

Dear Cathryn and Paul
I'm writing to tell you how much I love my emerald and diamond ring.
When Michael and I talked about it, all I knew was that I wanted an art deco style and really had no picture of what that would look like. You were able to help us articulate what we wanted in such a
gentle and patient way and we loved being in the studio with you.
When Paul's drawing came through, I just loved it straight away and when it was finished it looked exactly as I had imagined it.

Thank you so much for your suggestions, your patience and your incredibly creative talents. I've always wanted an emerald ring and I am so delighted with my beautiful ring. I've only recently stopped having near accidents in the car from staring at my ring!
Warm regards

Cath and Michael

The 24th annual Rio Tinto Argyle Pink Diamond Tender started last week in Australia and continues in cities around the world until Oct. 2nd.
Sixty five diamonds from Australia’s Argyle mine are for sale, 30 are larger than a carat. Pink diamonds are dated at approximately 1.6 billion years old. Only about 100 clients worldwide are allowed to attend these tenders and the locations are undisclosed. Even the bidders don’t know where the auctions will be until the last minute. The bids and the names of bidders remain confidential.

I’m still waiting for my invitation!

The birthstone for September is the Sapphire. The name is derived from the Greek “sapphirus” meaning blue. Although blue is the most commonly known colour for sapphires they actually come in many different colours.
The most desired colour is pure cornflower blue. They are a 9 on the Moh’s hardness scale where a diamond is a 10. The sapphire has been revered by royalty and high priests of many religions. In folklore it is said to kill venomous creatures, ease eye infections, cure ulcers and stop bleeding.
